Eoin Lane
A seasoned AI executive with a proven track record of delivering transformative, enterprise-scale AI solutions. Renowned for leading global teams of data scientists and engineers, Eoin combines cutting-edge AI technologies, design thinking, and engineering excellence to create scalable and responsible AI applications.
Alongside leading Noval Consulting, Eoin is an Adjunct Professor at Trinity Business School, where he teaches AI strategy, responsible AI, and digital transformation. He is also a Research Fellow at the ADAPT Centre, co-leading the DCC/ADAPT Generative AI Lab, Ireland's first local government generative AI research initiative.
Eoin is a recipient of multiple industry awards, including winning the Gartner Eye on Innovation Award in 2020 and being shortlisted again in 2022. He spearheaded the establishment of a €8 million Digital R&D Hub in Dublin, recognised by IDA Ireland, positioning BNY Mellon at the forefront of AI, data science, and emerging technologies, including quantum computing.
An IBM Master Inventor, Eoin holds over 70 patents and patents pending, alongside several dozen publications, showcasing deep technical expertise and a sustained commitment to innovation.
